Crested Butte Ski Trip

We spent 4 nights at the Grand Lodge Crested Butte and had a wonderful time.

Leyton is our little dare devil. On the second day I was reminding him to do his "pizza wedge"(snow plow) and he informed me that he didn't want to because he wanted to go fast! Here Leyton has been skiing for about 30 minutes and he is already covered in sweat!

Nia was our champion skier. Monte took her up on the mountain the third day and he said by the end of the day she was doing her parallel turns. She is growing up so fast!

Christmas 2008

Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Nia woke up about 7:30am and came in to tell us that Santa had come and he had eaten all the cookies and milk and the stockings were full!! We told her to go wake up Leyton and we would open presents.

They had to work together on this present, it was for both of them. They look very intent here!!

Santa brought Leyton a Lightsaber, the only thing he asked for!! Santa also brought him Lincoln Logs, but once he say the Lightsaber the Lincoln Logs didn't get a second look!!

Nia finally got her American Girl Doll. Santa brought it to her. She named her Rose and she has been attached to her ever since. Some days they even dress alike.
